Area Description: Florence, Colorado is known as the antique capital of Southern Colorado. Main Street buzzes with 20 antique shops. We are 15 minutes from the Royal Gorge Park & Train, white water rafting, great zip lines, and other wonderful outdoor activities.
Site: This B&B is the most relaxing, private, little oasis in Southern Colorado. The property is manicured, filled with shrubs, fountains, and a private hot tub gazebo. This is the perfect setting for visitors to relax and unwind after a day filled with all the activities the area has to offer. In addition, a 1907 carriage house and an 1860 log cabin are both on the property. The cabin is undergoing restoration and is approximately 75% complete.
Structure: This 1886 Victorian, is a 3 story solid brick mansion. With 7 beautifully decorated bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, it is the perfect home for a B&B. The 2 sitting parlors are ideal for guests to sit and relax. The dining room seats up to 10, or 12 can be served on the brick patio. The vintage kitchen with its turn of the century stove and oak island, make you feel like you’re a chef in the 1800’s. Upgrades to the roof, bathrooms, and electric were completed in 2010.

Special Notes: Please read our reviews on our web page. You will see what a wonderful B&B The Florence Rose can be for your next adventure. My wife and I gave up our jobs in NJ and jumped in with both feet and have never looked back, or regretted a minute. It is a special place, that we love, it’s just time to find another adventure.
