Area Description: The Country Hideaway Bed and Breakfast is located in the rural Pine Level community just 10 miles north of Prattville, Alabama. It is ideally located roughly 4 miles off I-65 at the 186 exit. It is approximately .7 mile off US RT 31N at 169 Ball Enwright Road. Prattville includes large department stores such as Belks and J.C. Penny and specialty stores such as Bass Pro Shop and Best Buy. Dining includes numerous fast food stops, local specialty cuisine as well as the popular larger restaurants. Carmike Cinema always shows the newest releases. You can also tour old downtown to visit small shops, restaurants and historical sites such as the Daniel Pratt gin shop and local artesian wells. The Robert Trent Jones golf course is often the site of the LGPA tournament.
Montgomery – just 20 miles south – includes Civil Rights Historical sites, Montgomery Performing Arts Center, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, as well as class AA baseball. It is also the home of Maxwell Gunter Air Force Base.
Site Description: Country Hideaway Bed and Breakfast is located on 69 acres of secluded woodlands. The main house is a 4,600 sq. ft. home built in 1999. The site also includes a 1,200 sq. ft. Carriage House. The white picket fencing surrounding the main home also fences a large lighted garden area containing eleven 16’x4′ raised gardens; each with individual irrigation outlets. Beyond the garden stands a large greenhouse with water and electricity. A building to store gardening tools and supplies is attached to the greenhouse. A 1500 sq. ft. enclosed pole barn (with 2 12’x50’ lean to’s) is more than adequate to store the machines and equipment needed to maintain the property. Roughly two thirds of the 69 acres are timberland containing trails, walking paths and a rustic cabin on a small pond full of bass and bluegill.
The Country Hideaway main house is a newer home than most B&B homes in Alabama and was built in the style of French Gothic architecture. The home plans were a featured article in the February 1989 publication of Southern Living magazine. The home is a two-story house containing four bedrooms and five bathrooms. It includes a 1600 sq. ft. unfinished basement with a full bathroom. The backyard contains a large patio deck and a 20×44 in-ground swimming pool with a salt-water chlorination system.
The Carriage House includes a full commercial kitchen, large dining area and bathroom. The dining area in the Carriage House will accommodate up to fifty guests and the attached patio and sun room will accommodate an additional 20 people. The home security system secures both the main house and the Carriage House.
Offering: Opportunities are virtually endless to make this the premiere Bed and Breakfast in the Southeast. The main house bedrooms and dining room will accommodate eight to ten guests. Weddings, rehearsal and reception dinners are easily accommodated. Scrapbooking and quilting retreats are ideal venues for the Carriage House. It is the perfect facility to host birthday parties, baby showers, club luncheons, company sponsored dinners and lunches, and provide off site catering, etc. The rural setting is what people looking to ‘just get away’ are seeking. The income potential is only limited by the owner’s vision and enthusiasm. Call for additional details.
Country Hideaway, on 69 acres, can be purchased as a ‘turnkey’ Bed and Breakfast, a Bed and Breakfast facility, a cottage catering industry, or simply a home site. Additional acreage options are also available. Total Offering Price: JUST REDUCED
